She quickly thumbed out a text message to her roommate, forgive me, I may paraphrase: "Guy wants to hang out! I didn't scare him away!" But in her haste, she sent the message not to her roommate, but to the original guy she thought she had scared away!
Oops. Hope that guy has a good sense of humor. Really, though, he should be flattered that someone wants him so bad.
